Heard from my programme leader at uni that I will have to do one elective module in this new semester for me to complete my degree. One stupid little module which has nothing to do with my course.

Funny thing is my friend managed to finish his degree without doing this elective for some unknown reason.
I think I passed my resit exam because on the uni site it said I could progress to the next year carrying an elective, but not 100% sure yet as the actual results will be sent by post sometime next week.
With the elective I have to do I can do it by distance learning, which means I can stay in Perth and get a job here. I don't really care that I have to wait till next year to graduate, I just want to get a job.

A couple of friends will be getting a flat in Edinburgh in January, I want to move with them. Would need to get a job through there though.

Well I thought I'd be done with uni by now, but after having my resit exam things aren't looking so great. Really shit exam with a couple quetions that I had no idea about. So I'm waiting for results on Sept 14th. If I don't pass it then looks like I will have to resit 3rd year again. Although if that's the case then it might mean me having to move back through to Edi again.
Blessing in disguise? Watch this space....

Finished Uni forever (except for the one resit exam I have at the end of the summer, but that should be a breeze... :|) Anyway yeah, no more uni, no more essays, no more presentations, no more lectures! Yeah!
So now I'm gonna be a lazy git for a week or so and then I'm gonna try and get a job. But that means staying with parents again, and living with a 56k till we can get broadband and networks sorted out in their house....... :( Well I'm gonna be in my flat till the end of June, so gotta do lots of stuff here before I leave ALL my friends behind!
My plans for when I go back to Perth? Get insurance for my mums car so that I can come through to Edi all the time ;)

Anyway enough talking, I'm off to the pub to get drunk, because I finished uni, did I tell you that already?

Yes I hate studying, even though I only have 1 exam, which is tomorrow btw. Had a presentation today, and yep... I hate them too, I think I mucked up a few times in it, but with my coursework, I think it will be enough to pass... hopefully.

The past week an old friend from Ireland was here visiting, and has been pretty mad. He's the typical crazy Irish drinker type person, none of us try to keep up with him when we all go out.

Well back to studying, this time tomorrow I will be in the pub celebrating the end of uni forever (well at least until August and the resit exam I have :\)

Ohh also the past week has been crappy with all the football results! Rangers won the league here because Celtic lost 2 goals in the last few mins of their game, Saints (my home team) finished 3rd bottom of the league, Man Utd lost on penalties to Arsenal in the cup final and Liverpool won the European Cup last night.... What's going on????!?! :(

Well was pretty busy this weekend. Had two nights out in a row because it's Ro's (my flatmates) 21st birthday on Tuesday, and since most people have uni the day after, he decided this weekend would be good.

Friday night - went to the edi uni student union (because it's pretty cheap) and almost all of the old crew (a big group of friends since 1st year of uni) were out, which is quite rare as usually lots of people are doing other things these days. Had quite a good night, got very drunk and ended up leaving early because I got pissed off at a mate :\ (after I left I heard he got into a fight with another of my friends(who was wearing another friends chef trousers, you know the checked type ones) and they both got chucked out of the place)
I wished I'd seen that, I woulda laughed at someone wearing chef trousers trying to start a fight with someone!
Was quite upset at being pissed off at my "mate". I haven't talked to him since so I dunno if he was angry at me at all :S Ahh so confusing....

Saturday - Smaller group of us went down to the town for a night out at a few pubs (really expesive in the centre) and it was alright, nothing special. Memory of the night? A few of us laughing at this hot girl kinda line dancing on the dance floor to dance music (from afar of course ;) ) That was about it.

Sunday - Been a lazy day today, didn't do much apart from watching Celtic beat Rangers in an important football match. Also watched Pulp Fiction. I love that film. I sugest you watch it if you haven't already.. :)

So my last couple of months at uni, everyone is pestering about jobs and such. My sister is sending me job opportunities (since she is looking for one too atm). An example of one she sent me "Technical Support Analyst, Salary: £25,000" So from going from a poor student, I could be getting paid 25 grand soon. It kinda freaks me out ;) (I'd love to be in a tech support job too!)

Ahh before a job though, I am going to be going on holiday!!! (not been on a proper holiday abroad since 2002) A group of 6 of us are planning to go to either Spain or Greece. I never thought I'd say this, but, I can't wait to go and sunbathe. I think uni makes me appreciate realxing more :)
Ohh and with a different couple of friends we are organising a road trip type break round Scotland too.
I say... bring on the summer!

Well decided to actually post here again, and not just browse reading everyone else's journals.

Today wasn't much different from the past few weeks. Wake up, go on computer. I feel like a lazy git for doing absolutely nothing. Definitely need to get back into the football and get fit again(i'm gonna die when it restarts). Also need to start going out again to pubs and clubs, no-one has been going lately out either because they are all on holiday or they don't have enough money :S

Spoke to my parents on the phone today(they had just come back from 2 weeks in Tenerife :\ lucky people going in holidays) and one of the first things my mum said(and I knew it was coming) "Have you got a job yet?" - "Nope not yet, still looking". For people who don't know I am looking for a full-time placement job for a year, and it's pretty difficult to find one. Seeing as I've had no luck for the past few months looking, I will have to now look for a part-time job just to keep the money balance ok. If I don't get a loan of my sister or get a job in the next week, I will have to go back to Perth(parents house) and live there and most probably work in the same factory that I was at last year(so boring btw.)

Eitherway it looks like I will be spending a lot less time online. Gah sometimes I still wish I as at school and didn't have to worry about some of these things >.
